Recently friend of mine bought Mazda 6 used, warranty was expired since this car was having 3 years of warranty.<br />
Mazda dealership in my country have 1 person who sale new and used cars and their diagnostic service is terrible, my friend left his car for 2 weeks and paid a lot of money for diagnostic since his car have a lot of lights on, and they give him no info.<br />
Long story... short i am looking for Mazda cable and software to be able to diagnostic his Mazda 6 car, his car is made in year 2019 and its sold 2020, car is 2.5 petrol engine automatic gearbox for European market, its not imported from anywhere...<br />
How much is the cheapest and what are the options in terms of cables and software? I think the software is called Mazda IDS.<br />
What version should be used in order to be compatible with the car?<br />
Also is there a way his real mileage km to be read with this Mazda IDS software?<br />
What software version and cable you can advice?<br />
I want software and cable to be maximum close to the dealership level because we don't want to burn, damage the car any ECU or electronics...<br />
But budget will not be enough to buy 100% genuine software and cable of course, so please offer something good, i don't need to be able to diagnose other brands only Mazda and specially this car, Mazda 6.<br />

This car came to me from another shop, with problem of engine shut off when you start it, sometime it will idle for 30 seconds and shut of but when you start it will start immediately. ECM and MAF replaced but same issue.<br />
With my personal observation, I noticed that when you start and press the accelerator pedal for it to go above 1 rpm (just an inch) and hold it there, engine won’t shut off but as soon as you left go off the pedal, the engine shut off.<br />
Fault code report is P2006, intake runner stuck closer even though it is working when you start the engine, you see the actuator operate yet it says stuck closed.<br />
When you keep starting the engine for a couple of times, due to the shut off, another code P2610 also appears, but when you clear it goes but will only appear after several start attempt.<br />
<br />
Now I need help as to what to tackle.<br />

I have Mazda 5 2006-2007 year 105 kw with Denso RF8K (RF8K 18 881C) engine ECU. Car won't start. I read fault code and was:<br />
1. Checksum error<br />
2. Programme error<br />

VIN number: JMZCR19T680312973<br />
<br />
I tried rewrite engine ECU, but this error's came again. When tried reprogramm key's with Mazda IDS V86, after programming, write what key programmed good (2 two keys), but in cluster immobilizer light blinking. <img src="images/smilies/sadsmile.gif" style="vertical-align: middle;" border="0" alt="sadsmile2" title="sadsmile2" /><br />
Can someone help me and tell, it's engine software problem or need new engine ECU? <br />

We change the cylinder head gasket and my mechanic did almost the same that the instructions but unfortunately when we stared the engine was ok but while driving, we heard a strange sound in the engine, and car wont pull well.<br />
Please advice what to do to get it exactly? <br />
1. We pull the No1 piston to the TDC exactly before routing the chain. Car start one touch at a turn of key no cam fault code, no crank fault code, yet this noise in the engine is the issue, the oil is pumping alright when we open the oil cover.. so we need advice as to what exactly to do.<br />
2. Need explanation to this as my mechanic friend do not have the special too called SST, is there any way to do it without it...<br />
"Rotate the crankshaft in the direction of the engine rotation and remove the cylinder block lower blind plug when the No. 1 cylinder is at <span style="color: #FF4500;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">the point prior to top dead center</span></span> (TDC) of compression, then install the SST.<br />
    Rotate the crankshaft in the direction of the engine rotation so that the No. 1 piston is at TDC of the compression stroke. (Until the crank weight contacts SST and stops).<br />
We want to know if the piston has to flash with the bore at the top or it wont reach there, we need further explanation or if someone has video to show, will be okay.]]></description>

I'm talking about an Mazda BT-50, 2.5TD, 2008, 105KW, WL-C. Few time ago client call me at phone, complaining that his car not start even cold or warm, just if is towed and then is enough 3-4m each time he stop engine is need to tow the car to can use it. About the same time car begin to smoke plenty and no power + engine begin to lose oil at all gaskets. After some time engine still not start but now it work regular without smoke and no more oil leak but as say not start. Today (after 1 month of talk at phone) he bring the car in my garage. After diagnose I get some faults:<br />
<br />
-P0402-EGR flow excessive detected<br />
         -permanent<br />
         -no symptom<br />
-P0101-mass or volume air flow circuit range/performance problem<br />
         -permanent<br />
         -no symptom<br />
-P0113-IAT sensor 1 circuit high imput<br />
         -permanent<br />
         -no symptom<br />
-P0102-mass or volume air flow circuit low imput<br />
         -permanent<br />
         -no symptom<br />
<br />
But after these errors were deleted, they not pop up any more, I guess they were received wen engine smoked and have problem with power.<br />
So I towed the car and true in max 5m engine start. A new diagnose not bring out any error. I see that if I stop engine and try to start again in max 3 seconds it start (heavy) but if I wait more than 5 sec engine not start at all. In live data I noticed that fuel pressure in rail wen engine crank is 12MPa (120Bar) and this in 2-3 sec but if I stop cranking the pressure go at 0 instant + other strange thing is that outside temperature is received like 49C even now by us is no more than 22-25.Battery is perfect and starter work correct so no problem from this side.<br />
I will do tomorrow an injector return test, but if somebody can help me with other suggestions please do it.<br />

			<description><![CDATA[Hello guys. I have problem with Mazda 6, 2001 year, 1.8 16V PB engine.<br />
<br />
When engine is cold there is everything normal but when it is very hot there is problem with idle speed. It is irregular.<br />
<br />
There is no any DTC.<br />
I tried to clean throttle but without result.<br />
Temperature, MAF sensor, everything normal.<br />
<br />
Anybody has maybe any similar problem?<br />
<br />
There is no any adaptation or parameters reset in any of my diagnostic tools: Diagun, PRO3, Delphi, FVDI, Wurth...]]></description>

Any ideas how to change the infotainment language in a 2015/2016 CX-5 to one that's not in the list if available languages in the menu?<br />
<br />
This is an Asia-Pacific model with Australian maps on the SD card. <br />
<br />
Has UK, US and AUS English, Malay, Indonesian, Urdu, Spanish and Portuguese. I need to set the menu to Croatian.<br />
<br />
Would this be possible with IDS, or maybe I need to add the language to the SD card?<br />

Changed the fuse, car wont start cranks over fine no fault codes in ECM. <br />
<br />
Tried easy start car starts up. <br />

			<description><![CDATA[Hello guys. I have big problem from a long time with Mazda 626 1.8 Gasoline (GF). The case is the car is with LPG and one exhaust valve just broken. No compression on cylinder. Cost of repairing cylinder head was very high so i bought other one. But the difference is that old cylinder head has no hydraulic and new one has hydraulic valves. I mounted this new one cylinder head and now car has very rough idle speed. It goes from 900-450 rpm, and very often engine stops because rpm is too low. When i put throttle to 1.500 then i hear it works correctly but when rpm is lower than 1.000, then i hear farts from exhaust pipe.<br />
I checked ignition coil, cables, timing belt, no DTC's in system, cleaned throttle, no intake leaks... I have no idea what is wrong. <img src="images/smilies/sadsmile.gif" style="vertical-align: middle;" border="0" alt="sadsmile2" title="sadsmile2" /> Please help!]]></description>

I have the car from the title in my workshop as a non starter and throwing DTC P1329 - Common rail pressure higher than desired.<br />
<br />
So far the car was at almost all of the workshops around me and no luck. The customer said that the car cut off while driving and he couldn`t start it any more.<br />
<br />
I have found a TSB from Mazda, regarding this problem. It says that the problem could be in Suction valve (at the HP pump), Fuel pressure limiter (at the rail) or FRP sensor.<br />
The previous workshops have replaced all of these components and no luck.<br />
<br />
Does somebody has experience with this problem? I cannot see Live data, because when I attempt to start it (cranking) it cuts the communication.<br />
<br />
Any help appreciated.<br />
