I just would like to know some members from UK, know some details about this below:
https://ashcroft-transmissions.co.uk/pro...sion-kits/

So long story short, this Defender converted in UK to automatic, and now the gearbox is in fail and safe mode. But diagnose wise no gearbox ECU showing up.
I guessing they installed some Ford ZF 4 speed gearbox into it. But if I don't know any details how can I approach this repair? And customer would not like to go over the sea to getting fixed it.
Thank you!

Hello Guys.

I am working on this 2015 Range Rover Evoque 2.2TDi. Issue is the coolant fan does not switch on.

There are no fault codes. This is the first Evoque that I am working on. I have JLR SDD of 2019 version (thank you Mr. Patrian).
We initially faulted the fan control module and the customer has supplied an aftermarket Chinese unit. This did not resolve the issue.

We installed a resistance decade box to the coolant temp sensor near the thermostat and set the resistance to show 130degress on diagnostics. I have connected the Pico Scope to the lin wire on the fan control module, there is a pwm signal but it does no increase or decrease as we adjust the temperature.

Please help me to fix this car.

Best Regards.

Land Rover Discovery 2 V8 NON Start

This Discovery 2 V8 petrol has it ecm and BCU changed from one car but does not come with key, this Discovery do not have transponder in the key, therefore no antenna by the lock cylinder. Owner got another key cut to enable it to turn. But no crank, no start. Security light in the dash blinks when key is turn on, even when key is turn off, it blinks.

Scan tool (Launch) was used to scan the car and error message only available on the ecm is: Anti theft serial link drive cycle A-active

Now I did connect some two wires at the BCU side to earth or ground and now when I turn the key to start position, the engine could now start and shut off.
This gave me the impression that the security is cutting off the injector pulse.

Now I need help with if possible Immo off this ecu, the flash chip in the ecm is the famous 29F200, which I can read the chip out, I don’t have the Nanocom to code new remote fob into the system.

Or can the latest JLR laptop application be able to code this old time Discovery 2?
If yes, which version has the means to do this, so that I can recommend owner to buy the fob?

Thanks and look forward for news.

I have been asked to help one of my customer program a ride height control compressor on a 2009 RR Sport, non super charged tomorrow last seven of VIN A199590.
We have done MANY of these RHC replacements and or swap to new styles.
We have been getting it done with the i Scan II WT and their PD install programming files utility.
We have also been doing this with the OFFLINE JLR version 134.
Up until today, that is.
So the shop this RR Sport came from has our JLR 134 and the i-Scan with up to date PD install and JLR version 134, they have done a couple of these jobs in the last year.
They failed and sublet it to a nearby shop to see if they could do it with their Autologic.
This shop only has BMW on their Bluebox Autologic, so that won't do it!
This other shop also has the i-Scan II WT and our diagnostic PC.
So, they hook it up to the Sport and the SDD vs 134 will not do it.
It just hangs after it asks if it is an AMK or Hitachi, they told it it was an AMK, it finally say's it can't find the file it needs. (They insist it is an AMK)
I called the first shop and they tell me they could not do it because it is a brand new manufacturers RHC. They say it is made by Arnott.
Google search comes up with this webpage:
