I have the above vehicle with a non start from key, If I power starter at solenoid it turns over & will start.
If the key is placed in the start position while powering solenoid with a power probe & will keep running, but it will not change gear (stuck in first), display does not indicate which gear you are in.
I have tested relay control module all good, pulse module is also good, Ignition switch good.
I also have no brake lights, power in & out of switch fuse OK, relay changed for known good relay.
I cannot find anything to diagnose this with, I have tried Autel, Launch, Carman Scan Lite.
Anyone know if Mercedes DAS will talk to it, or anything else that I can try?

Chrysler Pacifica ECM Flashing Issue [SOLVED!]

VIN: 2C4GF68415R576054

Performing reflash on a new ECM, which came with remanufacture number as R5161322AA, now after successful reflash the number changed to 68000263AC, I realize that the car is touring option, I tried to selected another reflash file that has the touring option.

68001680AA ALL WHEEL DRIVE 50 STATE TOURING EARLY BUILD

Now when I download the above file trying to reflash the ECM 68000263AC, it says that ECM has latest update therefore there is no update yet.

What is happening is that the 63AC is not causing the speedometer to responding, so I am suspecting may be it could be because I miss the flash file, so trying to load the original file failed, I need help as to how to wipe off the system with the 63AC and get the system to accept 80AA.

With the old ecu that the speedometer on the panel reads, and the software in the old ecu is in the range of 80AA, so I don't know that the new ecu which I flash with 63AC do not support the speedometer to read or not when driving, I need advise because after reflashing the new ecu with 63ac, when driving the car, the speedometer does not read, but the other one reads alright.

Is there a way to either erase a Chrysler ECM or force flash the files I want it to load? I mistakenly flash a new ECM with a road ECM flash file, now I am able to identify which calibration file is intended for the car, hence forth when I want to reflash the ECM again with it proper file, it keep telling me the Controller has no update file to flash the system, the current file is update. I have a passthru device as well as access to the flash files but it will not let me load the flash files I want to load. So how can I get the ECM back to it virgin state, because it came with virgin part number that is R5161322AA now after wrong flash with wrong selected file (68000263AC ALL WHEEL DRIVE), which I think because of this that is why the speedometer is not working, instead for me to choose 68001680AA ALL WHEEL DRIVE 50 STATE TOURING EARLY BUILD.

Now when I place in the old version ECM, the speedometer work, but the new one I flash is not working and when I tried to reflash, shows the 68000263AC as the new part number for the ECM instead of R5161322AA and will not accept 68001680AA flash file.
It says controller has no latest update file.

I look forward to read from you soon.
Thanks.

Thanks.

[hide] This 2003 Caravan arrived at another shop on the back of a tow truck.
Interesting diagnosis was:
Have diagnostics and no fault codes
Have fuel pressure and flow
Have plenty of ignition
Have plenty of injection
Clearly, this was a no start.

Found the reference voltage to the crank sensor and cam sensor too low.
It should be 8v and we had 5v. The ECM provides this voltage. Insufficient voltage fired the injectors at the wrong time.

A test ECM stated the engine. The problem is the immobilizer. (start and stall)
Replacing the matching ECM, Keys, Key cylinder and Skim started this Caravan. We were lucky to have an identical Caravan ready to be scrapped. The question is (after stealing all the parts) writing VIN's in the ECM (it's filled with a gel solution) or writing to the Skim. The document will indicate the questions and maybe find a good solution for this version Caravan. [/hide]

Dodge Ram 3500 ABS Issue

Hello.
Did someone have experience from ABS on dodge pick-ups?

I have a Dodge ram 3500 Cummins 12v 1997 Pick-up.
I have problem with the ABS brakes. Is 4-wheel abs, but i think most common is rear wheel abs on these pick-ups.
As long as i have own it the abs have never worked.
ABS light have been on as soon as you trigger the key.
What i have done:
Ohm-reading on the wheel sensor. Front wheel sensor is within the limit, the rear wheel sensor (only one sensor at the rear), was bad. Replace rear wheel sensor, but no differences.

I have bleeding the brakes, and the ABS-module. So i think all brake fluid in the system is new, but no differences.

Disassemble and clean the cartridges/coils. Try with a magneto over the dump coils, to see if they dump. Only one of the dumops worked with the magneto. Disassemble both totally, clean and lubricate them, so now a can feel the pedal sink of both of them. Also take the isolations cartridges out and try to blow through them with my mouth, and one of them was closed, so a disassemble clean, now the little metal rod in it move freely, and a can blow trought them both. Also take out the pressure switch (think it is) between the iso and dump, and clean it. No differences. Did all of these wit internet-advice with a man from TRW.

Had some mils on it and during a trip the lamp started to blink. So i bleed all calipers and the abs house, just pedal bleed. Than i turn on the ignition and the lamp light for some seconds and go out, just like it shall do but never done before. Try 3 or 4 times on and off with the ignition and the lamp worked as it should. Then a started the engine and the lamp goes on. Turn of the engine, and on with ignition again and the lamp was light and than goes out, started the engine and the lamp lights. Off with the engine and and on with the ignition, and this time the lamp did NOT goes out. We tried the bleed procedure again, and the lamp work as it shall, it goes out, but when i start the engine the lamp will light.

Bought a used "black box" for the abs management, from a ebay shop with good reputation, so i hope its 100% ok. But no differences.

I have no DRB 3 equipment, and i think thats the only way to read ABS-codes? Don't think the "key-dance" gives abs codes.
Don't have workshop with DRB 3 reader in my neighborhood either.

Someone more on this forum that have problem with abs on dodge pick-ups?
