Hi,

A Daewoo Matiz 800cc 2001 has been sitting in our workshop for a week and the problem is that it runs rough and hesitates when engine cold (Open Loop). When engine is hot (Closed Loop) the car idles pretty fine and pulls fine.

Only DTC now is for heater of HO2S after catalyst.

I have checked:
- Fuel Pump pressure (around 4 bar).
- Fuel Filter replaced.
- Injectors sent for test and they are fine.
- Cam sensor replaced (because of relevant DTC).
- Engine Breather hose replaced (leaking).
- Tank Breather Valve replaced (leaking).
- Timing checked twice.
- Valve Clearance checked and adjusted a little.
- Smoke tested intake manifold and found leaking EGR. "Blocked" EGR and no change.
- Compression test around 150-160psi for each cylinder.
- Engine leak down test not really helpful but I can't hear any air leak.

What i see:
- When engine runs rough, MAP reading is around 500-600mbar at idle.
- LTFT are stuck at -100% but I don't know if they are real or if LTFT are not available on this ECU.
- STFT are around + 5-10% when engine is hot.
- When engine is hot, MAP reading is around 400-440mbar.
- O2S switching from 0.2 to 0.8 Volts .

Thanks in advance!

We have few Sparks with faulty TPMS module. Maybe someone had same fault and solved this issue?
Because now the only thing what helped is just a new module (which is not good option becuase costs a lot).
I will add picture of the fault code, module and live data to see that pressure in tires is ok.
And yes I have done "tire learn" but it is not helping.
This is what the customer emailed me:
Hi Gary, I am having a nightmare with my car and wondered if you would take a look at it? There are multiple electrical faults. The break lights went out and the boot wouldn't open with the keyfob. Then a few days later the battery totally drained. I called the RAC and he spent 90mins trying to find the fault and couldn't. After he had charged the battery the lights/radio/wipers all came on without the ignition on. I have rang several Auto Electricians and they wont touch it because it'll take too long. Vauxhall have said don't bring it here! You are the only person I could think of that would know how to find the fault. It may jump start, it may not! Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Chevrolet Spark 2007.
VIN: KL1MD61487C259376
Engine: A08S3682318KA2

Brief history:
Car was brought to us via a second hand car sales. Apparently it overheated and they had to do the cylinder head.

Issue:
Vehicle hesitates at times, seems as though there is a misfire, car is a three cylinder. There are no fault codes logged.

Items i have checked:
1. Cam timing.
2. Installed a new Bosch o2 sensor( it is a 2 pin type).
3. Tappet clearance.
4. Compression test.
5. Cylinder leak test.
6. Smoke test.

Guys, I cannot seem to find the solution to this car. It is very sporadic the fault. Car uses a coil pack. Sometime it is fine, sometimes it is although there is no fuel. It occurs mostly when the car is cold. When it idles it feels as though there is a misfire, that is the car idles rough. I am told this is how the three cylinders idle not too sure about it. I have had a look at the plugs they are the correct type according to Chevrolet. The amazing thing is when I had a look at the plugs it seems as though the car is running too lean. The plugs electrodes are white.

Hi to all AP boys.
I have a serious problem with this Kalos, million of tests have been done but I have come to a blind spot.
Could someone provide me with an electric scheme concerning the fuel alarm?
All cables end up in ECM and I do not see why...
Thank you all.

As always, before the Christmas I suffer the most....
I got a f***ing Chevrolet Lacette about 3 months ago and I really can not find the problem. I can say this car It's my biggest, toughest job ever in my life.
Need to know, before me the car was visiting many car mechanics. As always in my life, I got the car after. I like challenges, but this is a piece of s**t.

About the car:

Chevrolet Lacetti 2.0
Engine: Z20S
Year: 2007
VIN: KL1**************

About the Problem:

DTC: P0089
The DTC is come when I press sudden the accelerator pedal.
If I press slowly the accelerator pedal then is OK!
Live Data: Can not follow the Rail Pressure.
Phenomenon: Limit the performance, the max RPM 3000, sometimes the car stops.

The problem is comming when the engine is already hot.

What I'm already checked:

I checked everything, really everything, and everything was fine.

- DPF Already Clean (Anyway I tried the car with removed DPF ECU Flash)
- Fuel Low Pressure OK
- High pressure pump was checked and tested measured on a bench, was OK
- Injectors were Tested, were OK
- Fuel Filter is OK
- High Pressure pump's pressure sensor is replaced for a brand new
- I opened the ALL cable wire and I checked the all cables
- I tried the car with other ECU (not new, 2nd hand) and the problem is still same
- Timing belt is brand new, the previous mechanic did the replace, I checked, was OK

The all idea will welcome, and thank you so much in advance!

EDIT:

I forgot to write, With the "new" ECU I was driving almost 50 Km, and everything was OK.
After I put back the old ECU, as well I was driving 10-15 Km and everything was OK.
Furthermore I was driving with the old ECU more KMs and the Fault was coming.
I put back the "new" ECU, and I was driving some KMs and the Fault again was coming.
So I really exclude the ECU problem.

I have a problem on Aveo 1.2 DOHC (year 2010) Hatchback.
With Easydiag or GM MDI diagnostic, VIN appears with only "yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy", it's not normal, on ECM...
2 keys (to start engine) are OK (programming). I don't know if ECM or ICU are changed on vehicle.
Does anyone have any ideas of the problem and how can i solve this ?
Passed ECM in neutral mode?
Thanks by advance for your respond.

Hello guys.

Chevrolet Sonic 2013 Hatchback with Manual A/C.

VIN: KL1JJ6DEXEB521482
Engine: F16D4132260151

Problem is the A/C will not switch on. There is enough Refrigerant in the system, we have just charged it up. I can activate the clutch via diagnostic. There are no fault codes relevant to the A/C system in fault memory of the engine control unit. There is one fault code P00B4 - radiator coolant temperature (RCT) sensor circuit HIGH voltage. I am not too sure if this will effect the A/C system from switching on. I cannot communicate with the manual A/C controller, in fact I am not sure if the manual A/C unit has diagnostics or is a diagnosable item.
Under live values in the ECU when I switch on the A/C button the ECU does not receive the A/C on signal.

I require a wiring Diagram for the manual A/C system and engine control unit.
2012 Chevrolet Sonic 1.6 came today with no crank and theft light steady ON.
BCM DTC B389A. The car stopped when they jumper wire the radiator cooling fan.
BCM pin code was translated to pin by X100 pad. And the key is valid in it.
ECM respond to communications. But I think it's bad.
1. So will I use a used or new ECM?
2. SPS online? Or just Tech2Win?

I have a big problem with my neighbor car. Chavrolet Blazer 4.3 V6 (VIN: 1GNDT13W4XK131887).
When I turn the key, the starter is not working. Overheard only relay near the passengers legs. Sometimes when I shorting starter relay, engine runs for a while and go off and sometimes it does not respond at all. When it trying to run, SECURITY sign blinks on Instrument panel. Maybe anyone has any diagram, or maybe someone has met with such a problem? Does the car have transponder in KEY or built in any other security system?

Good Afternoon.

I have this GMC Acadia 2014, that was robbed, and they removed the front camera, thinking was a GPS module or something.
The thing here is that i found the same model on eBay and put it on the truck, and use TIS2WEB to download new software to make it work with the truck,
but everything I see on the display of the cluster:
"Service to front camera required" and when I scan the car i have the DTC B1008
Any advice or ideas?

Regards

Chevrolet Avalanche 2002 V8 5.7 Injector Issue [SOLVED!]

A friend was facing a problem in his shop and called me for assistance, now what i notice is really un-understandable...

This 2002 V8 5.7 Chevy Avalanche.

All the earths points has being checked and tested and all is fine and working approximately... the B+ current and the ignition currents that suppose to go to the ECM, are all working...

Now this is the issue...
This car sparks alright, all the four injectors and coils at the passenger side are firing alright...

Now when it come to the driver side, all the coils are firing but the Injector pulse is not coming out.

Now when you turn off key and start the car, the injector pulse on the driver side will just flash for seconds and goes off, or sometimes just 1 seconds and all the cylinders will not respond at the driver side... Aside this the coils all at the driver side are working and keep spitting fire, but the injectors are not spraying, even though there is Constance B+ current on the one side that is pink.

Now, i did disconnected the cam sensor, and try to start the car, i start it and the car started while the cam sensor is disconnected, now the same front passenger side only works, but the driver side injector side do not work... but the coils keep producing fire... Please someone for help? The only fault code it gives during this situation is P0300.

ECM 7 has being swap yet still the fault keep coming, all wiring has being checked for short circuit to positive, but there is no short to positive nor earth when all the for injector wires are checked... so what could be the issue?
