I insert also a new external navigation 7Ways running from USB for those who like to play and test. Who want new maps can download alone from
www.megamaps.org.
Having now two navigation's the size increased a lot and I divided in two archives. One is just for installing the application and another one is containing the folders structure from USB which need to be kept there for allow external navigation running. The archive with USB files is common for both versions of SuperMod Standard and Evolution.
Who doesn't want to use all or want to save the space on USB can keep only one navigation between iGO8 and 7ways.
For future I will update it also as I consider useful.

BACKUP
How the patch is overwrites few files in navigation I recommend always to make a Backup.
Usually before I start any updating, I personally like to make a Backup of all system to protect myself in any event and so I found a very simple way with an application Total Commander that can be launched directly from the USB stick. The variants are below.
Backups have proven useful in many cases when MediaNav is blocked for various reasons and needs to be recovered. I recommend saving everything is possible from MediaNav. However, the most important folders are the Storage Card, Storage Card2 and Storage Card4 that must be saved.

Run Total Commander on MediaNav Standard from USB stick (without installation)
What's the easiest way to update maps or change files in the Storage Card's. The only problem is that you cannot run other programs or change files that are already in use.

- Download the file from the link below
- Unzip the zip file and copy all the files into the root of the USB memory

How to vaccinate your Tomtom Carminat.

0º

I recommend using a new SD without being moved even put the sd in the Carminat system first and make a boot to boot.

1º

If you are using your old card and not a new card put the original SD card (Tomtom Carminat) in a card reader.
(Make a full backup first with the Explorer, copy/paste).

2º

Open the Tom-Tom Home with his old setup on and take note of your Device ID.
Information device code help system (Help System Information Device Code ) XXXXXXXXXX

3º

Download the Navcore for Tomtom Carminat 8.842.

4º

Extract with WinRAR, then go to installDS1 and copy these two files
• IA0000700005swlimage0.zip
• IA0000700005swlimage1.zip
To the root of your sdcard.

5º

Extract these files with winrar (right extract here) at the root of the sdcard (overwrite files, if necessary).

6º

Rename the file called 'TSystem to ttsystem.

7º

Use the FastActivate Premium Edition and patch the PNDnavigator file with it.

8º

Create a text file with notepad called ttgo (not ttgo.bif.txt) in the root directory of your SD card and put inside these lines

This leads to variable engine rotation speed when idling, randomly.
The behaviour is "heard" and also "seen" on the engine rotation dash (~ 600-1000 rot/min).

The manufacturer has as patch for this behaviour, but doens't do a recall campaign, as far as I know.

On the other hand, do not ever trust the fuel indicator, as it has seriously large errors. This appears NOT having a solution yet.
It is worth having a 2 liter diesel bottle in your trunk, just in case...

just needed to edit 24LC16 dump. The main problem is that getting to 24LC16 is a big Pain in the a..s, You need to desolder a lot of joints to program the 24LC16 because the memory is under the PCB. So now I always program the edited original content of 24LC16EEPROM and program it to new bought/used EPS Ecu.
There are few problems in just swapping the units:
1. There is immo located inside the dump so if you just swap the units you will not start the car.
2. If you copy the original 24LC16 dump to another used one - the EPS will not work because the DTC about EPS ECU damaged is still
stored in memory area that can not be erased using CLIP.
3. The virgin dumps that are usually present in WWW were not working in these new TRW modules, I have tested a lot of them.
Other users says that the tool is woking fine:

but in my opinion there is no need to buy one just to adapt EPS.
All you need to do is to desolder the PCB like in photo, read the EEPROM 24LC16 content and edit the memory area from
360h to 40Fh and put 00 but:
1. Do not change anything in memory area: from 362h to 36Dh
2. In cell: 3E4h there should be FF
3. In cell: 3E5h there should be 02
4. In cell: 3F8h there should be 01
5. In cell: 3F9h there should be 02
6. In cell: 40Ch there should be 04
7. In cell: 40Dh there should be 02
Now you can program the edited content to bought/used EPS ECU, perform steering angle basic settings and done. There is a sample file attached. I have tested this solution only in Clio IV but it may work in Modus also.

Don't know if this info is posted in some other place here, but since is missing from the latest version of ATRIS, I took the liberty of posting it here

Described procedure was tested on pre-latest version of Dacia Duster 4x4 car, but it should apply to other models/versions of Dacia (Renault cars produced in Romania).
So, in order to reset the service interval indicator, you have to do the followings:
1) Put the key in the ignition position (without starting the car);
2) Within 10 seconds, press the acceleration pedal and keep it pressed;
3) While above condition is met, press brake pedal 3 times;
4) Dashboard indicator light will go "off".

Please note that on this car there is no info on the dash related to a certain number of km before the need of servicing. The programmed interval (according to car destination) will light-up an indicator on the dash. This looks (oddly) like the "low oil pressure" indicator, having some extra arrows above and below (probably meaning "exchange" oil). This light will go off after applying above procedure.

P.S. Since some service guys don't know and/or forget to apply this procedure, lots of clients (with a minimal knowledge) get freaked out about this, thinking that they have lost the oil and/or oil pressure.dull
