I wanted to check and possibly carry out a software update on a customers car and while using SPS I got to a screen with a drop down box with following options:

Upper oil switch disconnected and mounted on cable channel
Not fitted

I am assisting a lot of Opel/Vauxhall Corsa/Combo/Astra/Tigra with Electric Steering problem, the problem is whether only exists electric assistance for one direction or only partial electric steering on one of the direction of the wheel.

So the procedure is the following:

1) Remove the plastic under steering wheel and search for a small plate with some wax to block it in place with a screw on the center.

2) This piece of metal has to make some slight adjustments to re-calibrate the steering wheel column center;

3) After some slightly adjustments stopped and short test drives normally it works like new.

In this case, you have the possibility to reinstall GTis without to have to request
a new key.

I want to clarify that the request of a new GlobalTis license key don´t causes any
troubles, the Owners, Admins and some Mods have the pleasure to generate and offer You
a new one.

Conditions:
- First installation has a valid activation .
- Correct uninstalling of GlobalTis before by using the right application.
- Reinstalling on the same desktop-PC (or laptop) system
and on his unchanged configuration like HDD, Windows reg. key...

Advantages:
You save time, no need to perform new registration procedure,
no bother anyone for anything

The old Dealership data entries:
they are saved when by correct uninstalling of GlobalTis. The backup is called
"globaltis.sav", don´t touch it, make a copy if you want, this was generated in
following folder:

- Win7: C:\Users\"user name"\AppData\Local\Temp\
- XP: not confirmed, please info return to me, PM are welcome.

This backup is not transferable to another system!

Reinstalling Globaltis:
- clean your system by a reg.cleaner if necessary
- be careful, some cleaner erase your system temp folder, redo globaltis.sav
on his respective temp folder
- restart Your system
- by restarting the installation of GlobalTis the Setup Application recognize
your old dealership data entries. At the right time, of course, You have to
REUSE it by clicking on it, that´s all.

The oil gallery can be located by removal of the top chain plastic guide where the small gallery can then be seen.
The car can turn over without the guide briefly taking care and there should be enough oil pressure for the oil to squirt high enough to hit the open bonnet (if you haven't prepared some cloths to catch it a little).

Many times i have seen these completely blocked starving the chain and top end of oil so if nothing comes out get clearing the gallery until it pushes the oil with some force.
I have many times put these back together and found all issues resolved and no need for chain replacement so its well worth checking for this problem.
