I have just received one of these adapter kits from China and there are no instructions on how to use the adapter. We have a large number of Isuzu Giga (C-Series) trucks in NZ and many (maybe all - not sure) have a multi-plug connection and no 16 pin OBD2 connection.

I have searched for hours on Google and have had no luck with getting a user manual for the adapter or any workshop manuals for the Isuzu C-Series trucks.

Questions that I have:

1. I see there is a place to clip on the 16 pin adapter - Can I safely use this on 24v trucks?
2. Must I supply power to the adapter - if I must, must it be off the truck battery or can I use a external power supply. Alternatively can I just supply power to the scan tool?
3. The adapter has a system selector switch with 9 settings - any idea what each setting stands for?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have to scan a Isuzu on Monday.
