Yesterday I was looking if I could update my software and Navi in my Hyundai i40 and finally I found an update from quarter 1.2018 for Hyundai and Kia vehicles. This update came from some users in Italy, but the data is the same across Europe. My car is from UK and everything worked as it should.

The update is very simple. You can not do any mistake. If the update is not compatible with the car, then the car will normally deny installation directly.
But as always, if you proceed with this update your are doing it by your own responsibility!

Installation Instructions:

1) Download the rar file
2) Disable any antivirus/firewall to avoid any problem during the extraction
3) Format a USB stick by choosing FAT32 (NOT NTFS)
4) Copy all the files from folder "Kia Sportage Gen1x_2018" on the root of a USB stick (I used a 16GB USB Stick)
5) Go to your car, turn the machine on and choose your preferable radio station as this update will take 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete.
6) Put the USB stick into the USB port of the car
7) The car will read the USB stick and prompt to proceed with the update as you can see from this picture
8) Now the only thing you have to do is to press OK and sit back without turn off the machine for the next 1 hour and 30minutes.
9) When the update finish navi will reboot and load again. The prompt will come back about the update and now you just need to press cancel and then remove the USB stick.

You are done! yes

If an error pop up, don't worry. Just do a reset with a pen in the small button under CD tray and then the software will load correctly. (For me after the automatic reboot everything worked great without any error).

VERY IMPORTANT: Do not turn off the machine or remove the USB during the update!

Yesterday I was looking if I could update my software and Navi in my Hyundai i40 and finally I found an update from quarter 1.2018 for Hyundai and Kia vehicles. This update came from some users in Italy, but the data is the same across Europe. My car is from UK and everything worked as it should.

The update is very simple. You can not do any mistake. If the update is not compatible with the car, then the car will normally deny installation directly.
But as always, if you proceed with this update your are doing it by your own responsibility!

Installation Instructions:

1) Download the rar file

Hello Folks!!

Here is the newest Hyundai-Kia EPC that works like a charm. I just tested it on windows 7 x86 and Hyundai start and works great. I suppose the same will happen with Kia!!

All you have to do is to follow these installation instructions:

2. Run setup and follow the instruction to install Hyundai and/or Kia EPC!!
3. Install the Korean language pack (I am not sure if it is necessary. I install it.)
4. Add to Region and language "Korean" where you can (or vyberaem location Korea, after the first run of the program you can return back to your location)
5. From SMEPC.rar you must extract both files "LABEL.mdb" and "SMEPC" into "drive C" => SPAREMAP => EPC for HYUNDAI => paste them here. Do the same for Kia and replace the original files!
6. Reboot and then start the program from desktop shortcut.
7. In the window that appears, click the lower left button (to create a new user)
8. In the new window that appears, enter the number "1" in all fields, Hit confirmation (the left button at the bottom) and voila !!!!
9. To switch to English. language: in the uppermost left a menu at the top-line drop-down menu - the first from the top line - choose the language - choose the second from the top - it is English - overloading the program.
The program is ready to use !!

Unfortunately the program will turn to English but in the interface you will see a lot of korean that probably you can't understand. The think is that the program runs as you can see to the pictures bellow and if you have VIN codes I suppose you can find the car you want and check all the diagrams!!!

Description: Electronic parts catalog Hyundai.
All models produced and / or unreleased Hyundai Motor Company, except for vehicles intended for inter-market (eg, Starex), the model divided into groups (cars, SUVs / minivans / vans, commercial) and by region.


The catalog can identify the vehicle by VIN (with filtering part numbers), the search for the title of parts (partial or complete), original number, and also shows the applicability of detaley.Imeetsya options list with a breakdown for easy selection of the desired number in the absence of VIN-filter.
The choice of language is possible separately for the program interface, and separately for items of spare parts.
Translation of names of spare parts is not always correct, so it is configured to include "language names of spare parts" - english. Built-in directory of original accessories, present in some of the previous versions presented here are not for all models.

Treatment:
After installation is complete abandon reboot.
If installed in the default folder, you can simply run the file "run crack.cmd" from the folder "Lekarstvo".
otherwise:
Replaces the original file mg16.dll in the installation folder to the one that is in the hand (the folder "Lekarstvo").
File with the same name necessarily deleted from the folder "Windows system32".
Reboot and use!

For those who want to see all regions in the installed program:

Description: Electronic parts catalog Hyundai.
All models produced and / or unreleased Hyundai Motor Company, except for vehicles intended for inter-market (eg, Starex), the model divided into groups (cars, SUVs / minivans / vans, commercial) and by region.


The catalog can identify the vehicle by VIN (with filtering part numbers), the search for the title of parts (partial or complete), original number, and also shows the applicability of detaley.Imeetsya options list with a breakdown for easy selection of the desired number in the absence of VIN-filter.
The choice of language is possible separately for the program interface, and separately for items of spare parts.
Translation of names of spare parts is not always correct, so it is configured to include "language names of spare parts" - english. Built-in directory of original accessories, present in some of the previous versions presented here are not for all models.

Treatment:
After installation is complete abandon reboot.
If installed in the default folder, you can simply run the file "run crack.cmd" from the folder "Lekarstvo".
otherwise:
Replaces the original file mg16.dll in the installation folder to the one that is in the hand (the folder "Lekarstvo").
File with the same name necessarily deleted from the folder "Windows system32".
Reboot and use!
