Get PIN code from VIN of vehicle, get PIN code from VIN in new ECM (second hand)...
Then I use either G-Scan (worked very well so far for me on those) or Maxidas Autel and go into immobilizer...
Neutralize ECM with the PIN from scrapyard VIN, then I go into teach-in, program all key using PIN from vehicle and voila.
First problem encounter... Both of my scan tools are update until 2012-2013... and none was able to get communication with immo. So I borrowed an other Maxidas Autel, more up to date. Could not get into immobilizer, but could get into smart key module and found the neutralize option were there (it offers ECM, SMK or PDM). So neutralized ECM with scrapyard PIN, seems to work. Could not find teach-in though!
There is an option like smart key code saving, and when I follow procedure on scan tool, it says failed, even if I achieved to program one of the 2 keys... but still a crank no start. I had to leave vehicle at this point.
There is still the ''copy'' option.
Open ECM, and there are 2 Infineon Tricore SAK-TC1766... no eeprom to be found on the visible side of ECM and cannot easily look at other side of the board. I have KTAG EU clone (which doesn't list those ECM) and FGTech Chinese clone.
You guys have any idea if I could read/write those ECM's?
