Have a 2003 Corvette C4 with front bumping and the SRS says B0051 (Deployment Commanded-Stage1) and B0017 (Passenger Frontal Deployment Loop Open). Everything is fixed, but the crash data needs to be erased. Bought another used module, paid shipping and taxes, but the seller in US cheated me. Same faults. It's frustrating. Have a bunch of programmers here but don't know which to read on this and what to work on...
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm looking for some details info on ecu chip tuning for a Chevrolet Duramax diesel engine.
I'm a long time efilive software user but this ecu family is not cover by efilive.
I have found software that state they can edit maps and calculate checksum but I must be the dumbest guy because I can't make that working.

This is what i have a 2011 Duramax ecu part number 12648344 that is a Bosch edc17cp18 model. I know what maps need to be modified and I know where the checksums are, at least the address where GM is writing them. I don't know what the other manufacturers are doing but gm use 9 binary files (boot software,slave operating software,main operating system,engine,speedometer,system,fuel system,engine diagnostic,engine operation,) and everyone's has multiple maps. Every file has it's own checksum (I believe many) . I create a large binary file with the 9 files and load that file with Winols 2.24. Winols recognize 847 potential maps and load driver OLS807 for the checksum, 24 algo are set all autocorrection. But if I edit 1 single value, winols adjust what he believe is the checksum but that is not the good address. I'm sure at 100% because I compare 2 untouch binary files from gm that has very little difference between them and the address don't match with Winols. Also i loaded that large binary file on the Winols site and it's recognized ok .

I repeat the same process with ECM titanium with no luck.

Basically I'm looking for someone that can say he can edit the Duramax files with any software. Winols seems to be a great software according to the 40 + hours I spent reading zillions thread on many sites. So I guess I'm doing something wrong.
