Hi.

I'd like to post some info for a tool that i brought a few months ago.
I brought the Revelprog with the in circuit clip from the guys what make this tool. So far i can highly recommend it, in my spare time i do Laptops BIOS chips as well as auto electronics weather is just flashing the chip or removing passwords from the devices. I've got a guy in Europe who also uses this tool and he recommended it to me, he does Laptops all the time.
This tool cost me around £110 with the clips adapter. Last night i done two ECU's. i read them in circuit without fail. My point being for this Thread/Post is you can buy a cheap Chinese eeprom reader what will struggle to read in circuit and you will most likely end up de-soldering the chip of the board. Believe me i've been there many of times. For the sake of extra 60 to 70 quid and it will most likely take the headache out of your work. There only one Laptop it couldn't do for what ever reason. I've done HP, Dell and Lenovo and along with 2x Bosch ECU'. I'm yet to try a PSA BSI ECU where you have to attack the board, so I'm told
the clip it self is Pomona 5250 SOIC clip.
It also come with IC reader built in to the tool as well.
Please see attached picture.

PS
I'm i no way associated with the company who makes this tool it, just my review and hoping to help others.
If you do decide to buy, buy direct of there website as others are charging silly money for it! It even shows you a chip supported list on there site.

Best wishes.
In the next few days I'm going to try and make my friend up an external fuel pump.
What i want to know is the quick release fuel connection you find on the low pressure side.
Are they a standard fitting ie they will fit other vehicles manufacturers ie petrol to petrol and diesel to diesel?
Hope this makes sense.
It for test purposes to eliminate faults.

Good evening Professionals!

As someone followed this tool update logs then could see that is coming to be better from time to time.
What is your personal experiences with the Russian PCMFlash?
How safe to use it? How can work stable with EDC/MEDC17?
I gathered couple of information about the PCMFlash here, in the comments We can continue the information with personal experiences.

PCMflash is an integrated software solution intended for reprogramming ECU's and TCU's of VAG, Ford/Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan/Infinity, Subaru, Honda/Acura, Hyundai/Kia, Renault, Toyota/Lexus and other vehicles. There are universal modules Denso SH705x Bootloader and BSL TriCore. It supports work via ADS adapter (version 1, not for all ECU's) as well as via any J2534-compatible adapter if there are appropriate drivers and libraries. The tool has been tested with OpenPort 2.0, Mongoose JLR, MongoosePro JLR, Teradyne GNA600 (VCM 1), Mazda VCM 2.

The software is marketed on a module basis and has simple and clear interface. The Guardant dongle is used for the protection from unauthorized access. It supports flashing both backup (vbf) and binary (bin) files. When flashing binary files checksum verification and correction is available for most of the modules. Conversion from VBF/GDS into BIN is supported if the ECU doesn’t support reading. Most modules support checksum verification and correction as well as VID transfer (if needed) while flashing binary files.

Latest version is: 1.2.1

Does anyone have any experience with the KEYDIY KD-X2 as a Locksmith Tool?
I was browsing for a key transponder Cloner and came across this.
It seems to do a lot of things but what worries me is that the manufacturer offers replica keys.
What I don't know if you have to use these keys exclusively or that you can use any key/transponder.
It is Chinese so not much info is available on this.
Any input is appreciated.

I came across this android based tool with 74 vehicle brands with what appears to be good overall coverage including key transponders and free lifetime software updates. I thought others may wish to see it and may recognize it as similar or same as other software. It is only to keep in my car so I always have something with me. I purchased a Foxwell 650 Elite for the same purpose which despite a good write up and many Youtube recommendations was a complete waste of time as it only reads engine OBD functions and most of the additional special functions failed to communicate with the few vehicles it claimed to support. My next purchase was to be Autel AP200 which can be activated for all vehicles for 1 year and still retain functions after this time but then I came across this which I have just tried to purchase to see what it's like!
It is currently under a pre purchase promotional offer and not yet in stock at any or the Chinese wholesalers
If you have any knowledge of this or other similar tools like Ancel VPecker XTuner etc please share your experience and comments.

Is possible to change these brands? There are some places where i can download another updates or maybe is possible to update these?
When i bought the interface i believed i have to choose only one brand, and some day i discover that i could download another brand/s.
But unfortunately i downloaded brand/s that i wasn't need like Vauxhall.
So my idea, if is possible is to change these brands for another one, or maybe to update more than 5 if this is possible, but i don't think so.
Hope you can help me.
