I'm wondering if anyone can help me with this diagnostic device, because i have this device for about 4 years and so far i could not use it at all. On the internet, it's almost impossible to find out, what kind of additional programs should be used for the 8th Submenu (APP MODE SELECT), because none of the 6 mentioned works except VAG CAN + K. Please understand that I've lost enough time with upgrading and downgrading the firmware without getting to something satisfying. Or it's just another waste of time and money loss. If anyone has any clue i would be very grateful...

VAG VAS6292 Wheel Alignment System ADC & ACC Calibration Cameras Questions

Hi,

We are an independent shop specializing in the repair of late models Audi's. We have full/online access to ODIS (Audi/VW), VCDS and a few other tools. Recently we have started to acquire equipment for ACC calibration, blind spot assist calibration etc. The biggest problem is that we can't find too much information on what's exactly needed for every procedure. (Under guided function it for the desired calibration it gives basic information).

We are currently trying to calibrate ACC sensors on a 2017 Audi A7. We have 6430/1A and the 6430/3 (ACC calibration board) as pictured below. We do not have a VAG approved alignment machine however we performed 4 wheels alignment before attempting to adjust ACC. When we do the calibration we make sure that the steering angle sensor is set to 0.0, and that the misalignment angle is between -0.8 to 0.8, all doors are closed.

My questions are:
1. I see on many videos that shops have the VAS6292 - Wheel Alignment System - ADC/ACC Cameras - Are those absolutely necessary? If yes, what do they connect to (If we don't have the authorized VAG alignment machine)?

2. When you set the calibration mode, we set it on mode 2, and make sure it's balanced. During the calibration, do we need to adjust the infrared beam to be in the center of the ACC sensor every time we change mode (1,2,3), or do we set it in one mode and then do not worry about the infrared beam?

3. Is there any detailed guide available for those calibration procedures?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
Joe

This information is in regards to the new interface for the VW Group.
The group includes: Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, Seat, Skoda and VW
The new interface is generally connected via WLAN or direct via USB. This is an Actia device and can only be activated via ODIS and its own equipment.
This is a fully compliant J2534 device.
There are several ways to purchase this device, some being Actia, erWin and Snap-On.
The new device will now be used in the new ODIS platforms but the new platforms will also accept the VAS5055 and VAS5054 (USB only) in the new ODIS.

I have worked with and tested a new (not the latest) ODIS version (I am not impressed ) It was used with the VAS5054 and connected from new to older vehicles. This software is definitely for new CAN based models but have connected via "K" line.
Later, will post the links and installation procedures of this ODIS version with specific and numerous Microsoft Updates.
Flash programming is available in this combination Service and Engineering version.
Be prepared for a complicated and time consuming installation.

Since I have NO INTEREST in leeches and tossers, send a PM for the password.
For now this is preliminary and will have more information as this trial is completed.

Password ONLY by PM for Active Members...
(2) Non professionals =

I see three patterns:
(1) Professionals =
(2) Non professionals =
(3) Leeches =

I have a shop that wants to buy the (Omitec) Bentley tool WT10240. SOLD
It covers those "special" cars from 1993 to 2010.
It also covers Rolls Royce.
I have found it on Flying Spares website and was wondering if this is the right place to get it.
They wanted only £1550 for a refurbished setup, seems like an okay deal.
I checked dealer price and bought it new for about $4000.
Are there any Auto Professionals using this software and hardware?
We would love to get some tips.
We connected to a car today and pulled codes and live data.
We only saw erase DTC's in EOBD choice, seems like we need to connect it to a PC and run a diagnostic setup that adds a few menu items, like clear codes inside the Bentley or RR brand choice.
Looks like it also adds a PC co-operation with the hand held device for viewing live data and printing from lists
EDIT 04/21/2016
I did get this Omitec device, I bought it from the Bentley Dealer.
My dealer parts guy did not do a very good job, maybe he needed to put his glasses on!
We should have ordered WT03000 that is the diagnostic setup CD!
If anyone has that please PM me to make arrangements for purchase please.
Thanks for any help!

Hi all!

Does someone have experience with the VXDIAG tool? It replaces the VAS5054A. But are there any benefits? Could VAS-PC still be used?

Looks new to me, don't heard of it before. And the major question: Is it stable?

Regards!
