He only works on Subaru.
I recommended that he buy the OE Subaru system, select Monitor III.
He ended up with the II.
So, that is a bad enough story, but here comes more.
He wants to update it.
I don't think there is a meaningful update for the Subaru Select Monitor II.
Ohio Diagnostics wants this poor guy to send him the full system in order to apply a vague update.
$2000
This sounds like complete bullshit to me.
If anyone has any experience that might help my friend not spend more good money on a bad choice, please reply!
