So the latest RRS (Range Rover Sport) 2018, have a "sweeping" or what is called "animated" turn signal in markets other than NAR.
Apparently, for whatever reason, this option and "menu item" was turned off for the NAR vehicles.

Being relatively new to the software that can be used to work on Land Rovers, I wasn't sure if this was something that might be able to be modified via JLR SDD or some other software. It "appears" to be software/region specific related and not a hardware issue.

I was curious if anyone has any insight or experience with the software available to know whether or not this is something that can be done?

Hello All...

I have acquired recently a VCM (the ones with blue VCM sticker not the common red VCM sticker) original unit and having problems since i got it. Running V130, 131, 134, 137.....it doesn't matter i get the same result. When it boots up, ALL led's come on steady and remain on. If i unplug and reconnect they ALL remain on, not going through the usual boot up sequence.

However, if i leave the unit off for a time (i haven't managed to pick up a pattern but usually around 10mins is a safe bet) then reconnect power supply, the unit will boot up in sequence and i have to load a new flash EVERY time, only then will it connect to the pc and i start connecting to the car.

If i disconnect power and reconnect, all led's remain steady again and no connect. Have to leave disconnected for the 10min.

Is the unit bum?

Hello everyone,
I have recently bought a second hand Laptop T4 from a Landrover specialist here in the UK.
I seem to have all the Landrover discs. Can I run this same equipment to diagnose Rover cars. I realize I would have to find a copy of the Rover discs but would it run with this machine or would I have to run two partitions.
I believe I have an official Omnitec unit.
