Ok I downloaded everything and installed it this morning. Now the strange thing is I selected English only in the language option but when it starts its in German or another language I have to search the menu's to find languages. The only language available is English which I selected on install I wonder why it doesn't change to this on startup.

The data discs take a long time to install some will take an hour or more and I have a fast computer with a new large hard drive. Its also strange the Seat disc is on 2 DVD's when the larger ones are one iso.

When you use it and select the info about your vehicle from the comboboxes if you make a mistake on selecting you can't click it again to correct the selection you have to press Reset and start again. I won't let me select the Transmission that combobox is locked. I found all the correct numbers and info when I used to use ETKA 7.0 as that would do a VIN search.

Hi Keith, did you not follow Mr.f33nix's instructions?

I'm sure in there he explains quite clearly to install both German & English

The Admin account is in German always this is why we make a new one for English

I think best for you to re-install ELSA

I followed the web link ElsaWin 4.00 Install Instructions By f33nix.mht and watch the video ElsaWin V4.0 Install Video.mp4 f33nix made so I installed it as instructed. It only says install the language you want to use it shows clicking German, English, Finish and Greek but but it then unticks those and only leaves English.

The admin account is ok I didn't need to make a Fred Flintstone account.

I uninstalled it then reinstalled it again just to check I was saying the right things. This time I ticked German and English. I ran it again and guess what the text is in German. I changed the language and there are now two listed German and English so I selected English.

So the video is correct only select the language you want to use even though it starts in German you have to select you language afterwards once its running.

After it installed yesterday there was a message to select German or English that wasn't a choice to select both so I selected English but I didn't see that this time.

I think it isn't an easy program to use because you have to know the Sales Type for any model you want info for. I found my Sales Type: 5K188L from the VIN search on ETKA 7.0 which I saved all the info its a good job I did.

Now I've got to wait an hour for VW to install.
